BUG -- 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 output isn't in stereo?
« on: May 31, 2010, 02:03:13 AM »
Friendly greetings! First, pardon if I'm absolutely off-base on this, I've been recovering from a cold...

I upgraded Redline Reverb to 1.0.2 -- I'm glad the "dry/wet mix not being saved" bug is fixed! I was using this reverb for some special sound design in Ableton Live on Mac but kept noticing that at 100% wet mix, the output seemed oddly... centered.

I compared by turning the channel into mono and back to stereo, and sure enough, it sounded the same.

I downgraded back to 1.0.1 and the output is true stereo as expected. I notice there's a "1.0.3" but the forum still says "1.0.2" is the latest and the Readme on the disk image shows 1.0.2 release notes.

Can I please have confirmation on this?

Also, FORUM bug: anything after a proper em dash is truncated.

Oh dear.  :o

Assuming that you're both on Mac, I can confirm this.  Just checked and somehow a completely wrong source file got included in the Mac project, no idea how that happened.  Anyway thanks for pointing this out & sorry for the inconvenience, I'm compiling an update as we speak.

Take care,

In fact the new build (1.0.4) is already up--go get it from the download page.  Sorry for not announcing it here yet, busy busy busy. :(

Let me know how it works!

No prob, I understand! http://112db.com/forum/index.php still lists "1.0.2" as the newest and I had been looking there.

Downloaded and will let you know if anything noteworthy comes up... sounds good so far and your timely response is awesome!
