Licence Expired
« on: February 15, 2010, 12:06:21 AM »
Hi,

The date on my computer was accidently set to december 2008
Reverb failed on the startup of cakewalk, saying my licence has expired.
Is this because the software recognised the date was wrong? (via the internet perhaps?)
Or do I really lose the right to use the software after a year?
I was under the impression that I can use the sofware forever. I can't afford to  pay that much money every year.

kind regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,

I'm not sure how to explain this--of course our full licenses are issued for all eternity and we don't require any yearly fees.  What happened after you reset the clock back to the correct time?  If the problem persists, I would imagine an un- and reinstall shd solve it.  If not, please email us a copy of your license at support@[lotsofdB.com] and we'll troubleshoot.

Apologies for the trouble!
