Samplink and Cubase 4?
« on: February 14, 2009, 04:04:48 PM »
Cubase 4 (Mac PPC) can't seem to recognize Samplink. I have tried both VST paths, and tried updating scan in VST info. Does anyone have this working?

Same problem here, Intel MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard and Cubase 4.

I noticed that "samplink.vst" is moved to the blacklist xml file that Cubase creates when some plug in causes problems.

<Vst2xBlacklist>
   <list name="Entries" type="list">
      <item>
         <string name="Group" value="BlackList"/>
         <member name="Values">
            <member name="BlackList">
               <list name="paths" type="obj">
                  <obj class="FNPath" ID="32285104">
                     <string name="Name" value="SampLink.vst"/>
                     <string name="Path" value="/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/112dB/"/>
                     <int name="Type" value="1"/>
                     <int name="PathType" value="2"/>
                  </obj>
               </list>
            </member>
         </member>
      </item>
   </list>
</Vst2xBlacklist>

Best regards,

Alex
