License File isn't recognized
« on: May 27, 2008, 12:26:16 PM »
Hi there,
I downloaded the 1.2.3 Demo dmg, installed it successfully. Now, Morgana wants to see the license file, I dragdrop it over the Gui and Morgana tells me, to restart for the new license to take effect.
I restart and Morgana doesn't find a license file ???
I reinstalled Morgana and downloaded the License file again, no change.  :-[

any tips ?

Logic 7.2.3, 10.4.11, 2x3 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon

This is most likely due to the fact that some hosts cache information about plugins, which in turn causes Morgana not to see the license information.  The solution is to quit not only Morgana but the host as well.  Morgana shd be authorized when you restart the host.

If that doesn't help, please let me know the host & version this occurs with and I'll investigate.

Take care,

Er, I did the same thing in Logic 8.0.2 on a Macbook C2 Duo, 10.5.6 and the file won't recognize? Drag and drop, locate in the finder, neither works. Says it's not a valid file or corrupt. Is the license key supposed to be an xml file? Wish I could get this to work?

It appears that sometimes the licenses generated are invalid in some way, I'm looking into it.  Just sent you a new license by email.  Anyone else experiencing this problem simply drop me a line and I'll accommodate you right away.

Thanks for reporting this,
