Title: Difficulty with controls.

The controls on this plug seem to take excessive travel with the mouse to induce rotation of the knobs, making it very tedious to dial in.
I don't have this issue with any other plugs I'm using or have demo'd.
Initial impression is positive regarding the sound and this is exactly the sort of plug I'm shopping for right now.

Is it possible you have accidentally engaged a knob mode other than Linear (which uses up/down motions for knobs, and left/right for fine adjustments)?  To check right click anywhere on the interface and open "Knob Mode".
