Title: Personal Avatars?

     Hey guys, are personalized avatars allowed on this site?  I tried posting a hotlink from Flickr to my profile but nothing happened so I thought I'd ask about it.  I don't see that anyone else has one yet either. :)

Is there any plans on allowing uploaded avatars?  I have my own, but not hosted at any site in particular

If you can't host your own avatar images the easiest way would be to upload them to one of the available free image hosters such as ImageHosting (http://www.imagehosting.com).  (There's tons of others.)  Then use the URL they give you as the avatar here and hey presto!
